FREMONT - Margie Irene Shulze, 91, of Fremont died Friday, August 26, 2011, at Lakeland Skilled Nursing Center in Angola. Mrs. Shulze had worked at G.E. Corp. in Fort Wayne and retired in February 1976. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fort Wayne. She was born June 4, 1920, in Paulding, Ohio, to Edward A. and Otillia (Parr) Tempel. She married Phillip H. Shulze on June 14, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2004. Surviving are her son, Jack E. Shulze of Fremont, and four grandchildren, Brian Amans of St. Petersburg, Fla., Erica Amans of Fort Wayne, Cassie Amans of Evansville and Gregg Shulze of Columbus, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Theresa Amans; and a stepson, Phillip Gregg Shulze. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, with Father Bernard Zajdel officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola.
