Geneva (Gene) M. Arkwright passed away Saturday evening March 30, 2013 at Northern Lakes Nursing and Home and Rehabilitation Center in Angola. She was born in Wayne County, IN on June 21, 1921 to Arthur and Anna (Finch) Eisenhour. She married Blaine Arkwright on June 14, 1941. She and her husband owned Arkwright T.V. Service in Angola. She was a member of the Angola United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Angola Rebekah Lodge; DAR; Beta Sigma Phi Sorority; a 67 yr. member of the Angola Women of the Moose and a 60 year member of the Angola American Legion Auxiliary Post 31. She is survived by her son Terry Arkwright of Warsaw, IN; her sister Betty Herl of Angola, IN; two granddaughters Amy and Steve Boulware, Shelby and John Elias, four great-grandchildren Andrew Boulware, Emma Boulware, Olivia Elias and Ethan Elias. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Blaine Arkwright, 2005; and infant son; 3 sisters Violet Canon, Deloris Ely and Virginia Drill. Memorials services will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Angola United Methodist Church, Angola, Indiana with Rev. Tim Terrell officiating. Burials was in the Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Council on Aging Senior Center or the Angola United Methodist Church.

I was very sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I visited with her several times in the nursing home and always found her to be a happy soul. She will be missed in Angola.
