Alta May Arnold, 68, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Parkview Hospital-Randallia, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on November 30, 1948 in Fort Hancock, New Jersey to Michael L. Sr. and Mary K. (Baker) Concus.  

Alta worked at Sunrise Donuts before she retired.  

She was a member of the Angola American Legion Auxiliary, Post 31, Angola Moose Lodge Auxiliary and attended the Assembly of God Church, Angola, Indiana.

Alta enjoyed crocheting and taking care of her cats.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are five daughters, Tina King of Angola, Indiana, Stacey Houlton of Angola, Indiana, Regina King of Logansport, Indiana, Tabitha Palmerton of Angola, Indiana and Terri Ann Palmerton of Angola, Indiana; three brothers, Michael (Nancy) Concus Jr. of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, Tim Concus of Angola, Indiana and Larry (Paula) Concus of Kokomo, Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melissa King and her ex-husband, Mike Arnold.

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana with Rev. Larry Concus officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials in Alta’s memory may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses c/o Tabitha Palmerton.
