Sorry to hear of Darrel's passing. I was a classmate in our earlier years having left Pleasant Lake after the 7th grade. One of my most memorable moments was when Darrell sent me a letter requesting my attendance at a class reunion. It was special that he gave me such consideration. I still have the letter and will always remember him for his kind gesture. He was a very kind man!
