Sherry and Stephen, I was so sorry to hear from my brother John about your mother. I have so many fond memories of the two of you, your father and mother while growing up in Garrett. Basketballs games. Trips to the lake cottage in the summers. Your mother always treating me like one of the family.

With heart felt sympathy.

To the Smith family - my deepest condolences as I learn of the death of your mother. We were closely connected when I was the Exec. Director for the Steuben Council on Aging, and in addition I helped to facilitate the Alzheimer's Support Group (along with Paula Headley Bateman) that she had started so many years ago. I will always fondly remember her kind words of encouragement both with the support group and with the COA. May you take comfort in knowing she is with Jesus.
