Thomas E. Gardner, 71, passed away suddenly at his home in Hamilton, Indiana on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
He was born on April 28, 1949 in Angola, Indiana to Carl and Mary (Longnecker) Gardner. He graduated from Fremont High School.
Thomas married Bonnie E. Tritch on October 11, 1969.
He was a farmer and enjoyed every aspect of farming. He had also worked at the Steuben County Co-Op.
Thomas loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his sons, Thomas “Andy” Gardner of Hamilton, Indiana, Travis R. (Kim) Gardner of Angola, Indiana and Todd W. Gardner of Hamilton, Indiana; sisters, Linda Wheeler of Angola, Indiana and Nancy (Ed) Jones of Angola, Indiana. Also surviving are his five grandchildren, Hayden Gardner, Cadence Gardner, Corbin Gardner, Dana Gardner and Drake Gardner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife , Bonnie E. Gardner on June 9, 2005 and brother, Raymond Gardner.
Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at South Scott Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
