Name: Lynn Fredric Hagewood Date: October 21st, 1936 - July 28th, 2010 Obituary: Lynn Fredric Hagewood, 73, of Angola died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Cameron Memorial Hospital in Angola. Mr. Hagewood had been vice president of manufacturing for No-Sag Spring Co. in Kendallville, retiring after 42 years of service. He had attended Lake Missionary Church in Angola. He was born Oct. 21, 1936, in Angola to Carney Hagewood and Bessie Horn Hagewood Moss. He married Elaine Cotman on June 28, 1958. She survives in Angola. Also surviving are his stepfather, Clarence Moss; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mike Hagewood of Fremont, Mark and Taneeka Hagewood of Wolcottville and Mitch and Michelle Hagewood of Orland; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Debbie Hagewood of Waterloo, Kim and Ed Messick of Pepperell, Mass., Libby Smoker of LaGrange, Stacy and Brett Smith of Angola and Heather and Derek Carlson of Avon, Ind.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Linda Hagewood of Auburn, Larry and Betty Hagewood fo Garrett and Norman and Carol Hagewood of Fremont; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his father, mother and a great-grandson, Riley Carlson. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lake Missionary Church in Angola with Pastor Lance Witham officiating. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m Saturday at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, which is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are to the family in care of Elaine Hagewood.
