Allan J. Benda

Allan J. “Al” Benda, 69, of Angola, Indiana, formerly of Findlay, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Al was born December 8, 1954, in Brooklyn, Iowa to Lester J. and Donna (Lepley) Benda.

He married the love of his life, Sharon K. Huff, on September 6, 1998.

Al owned and operated Panther Automotive in McComb, Ohio, retiring in 2019.

He was a member of the Angola Moose Lodge.

Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon K. Benda of Angola, Indiana; children, Melissa D. (Jeff) Grimm of Johnston, Iowa, Jeffrey A. Benda of Portland, Oregon, Amber (Steve) Morris of Cygnet, Ohio and Kristy (Rusty) Teegardin of Hoytville, Ohio; 11 beloved grandchildren and one precious great-grandchild with another one on they way.  Also surviving are his sisters, Elaine (Dan) Wilcox of Johnson City, Tennessee and Mary (Dennis) Flander of Montezuma, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kory D. Conley.
