Amanda L. Crum

Amanda L. Crum, 42, of Angola, Indiana, passed away suddenly on July 24, 2024, at her home.

Amanda was born on February 18, 1982, in Angola, Indiana to Gary L. and Cynthia S. “Cindy” (Sparks) Crum.  She graduated from Angola High School in 2001 and graduated from the Pennsylvania Culinary Arts School.

Amanda worked at Caruso’s Restaurant in Angola, Indiana where she enjoyed applying her culinary and pastry skills.

She was a member of the Angola United Methodist Church.

Amanda liked being out in nature, especially mushroom hunting and dabbling in photography.

Surviving are her parents, Gary L. and Cynthia S. “Cindy” Crum of Angola, Indiana, her brother, Matthew (Heather) Crum of Angola, Indiana, niece, Natalie Crum and nephew, Ashton Crum.  Also surviving are her uncles and aunts, Scott (Elaine) Sparks of Ocala, Florida, Paul Sparks of Ocala, Florida, Dr. Howard (Ruth Ann) Crum of Lexington, Kentucky and Charles Southern of Mesa, Arizona along with several cousins.  She is also survived by her special friend, Pat Rahm of Toledo, Ohio and her fur baby, Luna.

Preceding in death are her grandparents, Robert and Natalie Sparks, Dr. M.M. and Treva Crum and aunt, Donna Southern.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, Indiana and from 10-11 AM on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the funeral home.  Rev. Tim Terrell and Pastor Tracey Zimmerman will be officiating.

Final resting place will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.

Memorial donations may be made to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County.
