ANGOLA
Anita May Allen Milleman, 80, of Angola, passed away on Tuesday September 15, 2015 at Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Angola.
She was born November 5, 1934 in Ashley, Indiana to Gerald and Kathryn (McClish) Montgomery. She married Wayne Allen on September 19, 1959 and Roger Milleman on July 8, 1998.
Anita worked in the Steuben County Clerk’s office for 6 years and for Lincoln National Life for 6 years.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 31 and the Angola Women of the Moose. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren playing sports, collecting angels, knitting and doing word search puzzles.
Surviving are her daughters Kim Allen of Angola and Sheila (Jack) O’Brien of Forest, VA; one sister Toni Grogg of Ashley and 2 grandchildren Kalyn Allen and Taylor O’Brien.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Wayne Allen on November 4, 1976 and Roger Milleman on Jan. 3, 2006 and her brother Jack Montgomery.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Anita’s memory to the Steuben County Humane Society, Angola.
