Barbara Jean Cole, 85, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at her home with her family by her side.

Born on December 12, 1940, in Ortonville, Michigan, she was the daughter of Howard and Shirley Loretta (Bindig) Quick.

Barbara married the love of her life, Charles Douglas Cole. 

She worked in Human Resources doing payroll.

Barbara enjoyed painting and sewing.  She loved horticulture and anything to do with plants.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and her dog, Bella.

Surviving is her loving husband, Charles Douglas Cole of Angola, Indiana; son, Thomas Dan (Annette) McLeod of St. Albans, West Virginia; two beloved granddaughters, Leanne Nicole McLeod and Andrea Hope McLeod and one precious great-granddaughter, Jozie Grace McLeod.

Following her wishes, there will be no services.
