Barbara Louise (Johnson) Ray

Barbara Louise Ray, 73, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, with her family by her side.

Barbara was born on October 24, 1951, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Here parents, the late, John M. Jr. and Beatrice L. (Wollaeger) Johnson.  She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, California in 1969.  Barbara also attended California Lutheran University.

Barbara married the love of her life, Dick N. Ray, on June 24, 1995.

She had worked as an Administrative Assistant for Industrial Parts Depot in Torrance, California before retiring.

Barbara enjoyed traveling, gardening, working around the house and taking care of her family and her pets.

Surviving are her loving husband of 29 years, Dick N. Ray of Angola, Indiana; daughter Greta Lynn Hitchcock of Angola, Indiana and her beloved granddaughter, Julia Richardson.  Also surviving are her siblings, Rick Johnson of Ojai, California and Joan (Jim) Maines of Monrovia, California.
