Betty I. (Crain) Leedy

Betty I. Leedy, 90, of Angola, Indiana died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was a homemaker in her own home.

Betty was born October 3, 1926 in Fulton, Indiana to Robert Crain and Ruth (Insley) Crain Hall.  She married Eldon D. Leedy on January 12, 1951.

She was a member of the Community Brethren Church in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Surviving are her sons, David (Jennifer) Leedy of Holt, Michigan and Jerry Leedy of Syracuse, Indiana and daughter, Deena (Larry) Coleman of Fremont, Indiana; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert Crain; Mother, Ruth Hall; Step-Father, William Abbott; two brothers, Lawrence Crain and Bob Crain and sister, Margie Muckenfuss.

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.  Pastor Gene Eckerley will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made in Betty’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.
