Betty McDougle Obituary

Betty Marie McDougle, 71, of Angola, Indiana passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Betz Nursing Home, Auburn, IN. She was born April 28, 1941 to Arvel and Viola (Mulligan) Shock in Defiance County, Ohio. She was the Certified Dietary Manager at Angola Nursing Home before retiring. Betty was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Angola where she was the bulletin Secretary, the pianist and organist for over 50 years and helped out whenever possible. She also was a member of the Dietary Manager Association. She married Carl McDougle on April 29, 1961. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law Mary Marten of Bronson, MI; Leah and Mark Williams of Auburn, IN; her brother and sister-in-law Carl and Judy Shock of Camden, MI; six grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday April 5, 2013 at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola with Pastor Don Greulich officiating. Burial will be in Powers Cemetery, Steuben County, IN. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family c/o Leah Williams.
