Betty Mae (Craun) Mott

Betty Mae Mott, 97, of Angola, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Aperion Care in Angola, Indiana.

She was born on February 24, 1922 in Angola, Indiana to William R. and Bessie O. (Greenawald) Craun.  She married Mark F. Mott on January 15, 1941.

Betty worked as a proof reader for Moore’s Business Forms in Angola, Indiana.  She was a member of the DAR.  She liked going to auctions and collecting wall pockets, hats from the 30’s and 40’s and cookbooks.  She also enjoyed her flowers and gardening.  She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Tommy Mott, Don Mott and Bonnie Moor all of Angola, Indiana.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mark F. Mott on January 29, 1991, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, Indiana with Pastor John Boyanowski officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM on Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County.
