Carol Darlene Caswell Holiday, 79, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Angola, Indiana, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at her home.
Carol was born on July 21, 1946, in Bristol, Michigan to Edward and Lillian (Rapp) Trowbridge. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1965.
Carol had worked at Dana Weatherhead in Angola and then Eaton Corporation in Auburn, Indiana before retiring. She also drove school bus for many years for the Angola School System and MSD of Steuben County.
Carol attended Hope Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She enjoyed gardening, canning and mushroom hunting. But most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Dennis Holiday of Tustin, Michigan, Douglas (Tina) Holiday of Angola, Indiana and Diane (Cornell) Vaughan of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her 9 beloved grandchildren and 2 precious great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene Caswell, daughter-in-law, Kelly Holiday and ex-husband and friend, Roland “Bud” Holiday.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana with Pastor Chris Stull officiating.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon-2 PM, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Final resting place will be in Dover Twp. Cemetery, Bristol, Michigan.
