Catherine M. Ernsberger, 92, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Angola died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Hamilton Place, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was a homemaker.
Catherine was born July 2, 1924 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to John and Mary (Vonderau) Birchman. She graduated from Angola High School.
She married Harvey Donald Earnsberger on June 11, 1943.
Catherine attended the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Angola, Indiana.
Surviving are her sons, Ron (Mary Ann) Ernsberger of Seymour, Tennessee and Richard (Linda) Ernsberger of Fox Lake, Wisconsin; five daughters, Sandra Keller of Wyoming, Michigan, Sharon Hamilton of Ellettsville, Indiana, Joyce Campbell of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Rexanne Smith of Williams, Arizona and Donna (Al) Daeger of Hamilton, Indiana; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Donald Ernsberger in June 1985; son, John Ernsberger; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana with Rev. Deborah Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Pleasant Lake, Indiana.
Visitation is from 2-4 PM, Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.
Memorials may be given in Catherine’s memory to First Congregational United Church of Christ in Angola, Indiana.
