Obituary

Charles F. Blakesley, 79, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett, Indiana.

He was born on October 13, 1943, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Charles and Dorothy Blakesley.

Charles married Linda Gibbeny on March 11, 1977.

Charles owned and operated Blakesley Auto Sales in Angola, Indiana for a few years then in Auburn, Indiana for 45 years. 

Surviving are his wife, Linda Blakesley of Fremont, Indiana, his son, James Blakesley of Georgia and his daughter, Jeannette (Jeremy) Bozsor of Monticello, Indiana.  Also surviving are his four grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 25, 2023, at Pleasant Lake Cemetery.  Rev. George Faulk will be officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
