Charles Lee Saylor (Charlie, Chuck…), 42, of Angola, Indiana, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in Angola, Indiana.
Charles was born on December 24, 1983, in Angola, Indiana. He graduated from Angola High School in 2001.
He worked for 20 years at Bostwick-Braun in Ashley, Indiana until they closed. Then he worked for RR Donnelley in Angola, Indiana.
Charles enjoyed watching sports, especially his favorite Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was an avid video gamer and liked to play Poker.
Charles was a loyal friend and believed that friendship made you family. Best of all, he was a very hands-on, active, and amazing Father and loved spending time with his children.
Surviving are his beloved children, Davianna L. Saylor and Charlotte R. Saylor along with their mother, Lynsey Saylor of Hamilton, Indiana; his mother, Sarah Traster (Doug) of Highpoint, North Carolina and his sister Elizabeth “Libby Jean” (C.J.) Kilgus of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He is also survived by many close family and friends, including aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Levi and Brenda Saylor.
There will be no services at this time. Charlie’s family will keep you updated regarding a future Celebration of Life via social media.
