Connie Tharp Obituary
Connie Lee Tharp, 72, of Angola, Indiana passed away on August 2, 2018 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on May 19, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Robert and Edna (Murray)
Quatkemeyer.
Connie retired from Trine University where she had worked in the Perry T. Ford Memorial Library.
She also volunteered and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Indiana.
Surviving is her son, Jeff and Amy Perkins of Angola, Indiana; two brothers, Ron (Dori) Quatkemeyer of Cincinnati, Ohio and Rick Quatkemeyer of Cincinnati, Ohio and her sister-in-law, Nancy Quatkemeyer of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also surviving are her three grandchildren, Taylor Perkins, Aaron Perkins and Brayden Perkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 34 years Gary Paul Tharp on August 6, 2013 and her brother Robert Quatkemeyer.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Weicht Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Greenwood officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM, Friday, August 10, 2018 at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), Indiana State Chapter, 10401 N. Meridian Street, Suite 150, Indianapolis, IN 46290.
