ANGOLA - Dakota James Mudrack, 16, of Angola died Sunday, July 24, 2011, in Angola. Dakota would have been a sophomore this fall at Prairie Heights High School. He had played golf for Prairie Heights Middle School. Dakota enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. He was born February 25, 1995, in Auburn to James Mudrack Jr. and Carla Wolfe Mudrack. They survive in Angola. Also surviving are his grandparents, C. Leon and Patricia Wolfe of Wolcottville and Largo, Florida; a brother, Colton DeRemer of Angola; and three sisters, Jennifer Gonzalez of New Orleans, Louisiana, Desirae Mudrack of Angola and Cheyenne Mudrack of Angola. He was preceded in death his grandfather, James Mudrack Sr., and his grandmother, Jeanne Mudrack. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011, at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola with his uncle, Pastor Terry Baldwin, officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at the funeral home.
