Donald Wayne Scott affectionately known as “Papa D” of Angola, Indiana, passed away suddenly at Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Angola, Indiana at the age of 85.
He was born on October 24, 1938, in East Chicago, Indiana to Jack Benderfean and Florence Szalagi. After graduating from Hammond High School in Hammond Indiana, Donald attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Papa D will be greatly missed by all that knew him and was very much loved by his family and friends. He was compassionate, loving, caring and always loved helping others.
