Donald Rex Shook, Jr.

Donald Rex Shook, Jr., 63, of Fremont, Indiana, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.  He passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his home. 

He was born on October 8, 1959, to Donald R. and Maxine E. (Daglow) Shook Sr.

Donald was a self-employed electrician. 

He enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

Surviving are his mother, Maxine E. Shook of Fremont, Indiana; son, Tony (Sharla) Shook of Fremont, Indiana; daughters, Felicia (John) Landis of Coldwater, Michigan and Amanda (Trevor) Senecal of Fremont, Indiana; brother, Brian (Melinda) Shook of Fremont, Indiana and sisters, Vickie DeVries of Mattawan, Michigan, Jackie (Dennis Stukey) Shook of Montgomery, Michigan and Cathy (Mike) Thatcher of Fremont, Indiana.  Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren, Madison, London, Syvannah and Jace and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Shook Sr.; sister, Rosie Langston and brother-in-law, Scottie DeVries. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Montgomery American Legion, 404 E. McCallum St., Montgomery, MI 49255.
