Dorothy J. (Leslie) Yockey

Dorothy J. Yockey, 96, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Angola, Indiana.

She was born on November 21, 1925, in Paulding, Ohio to Ira Cile and Leola M. (Bird) Leslie. 

Dorothy was a clerk at Moore Business Forms in Angola, Indiana before retiring.  She had been a 56-year member of the Angola Order of Eastern Stars and a member of the Angola American Legion Auxiliary Post 31.

She married Orville Wayne Yockey in 1943.

Surviving is her daughter, Judith (John) Sellgren of Grand Rapids, Michigan, two grandchildren, Leslie Jo Cummings and Lisa Jean Sellgren along with her two great grandchildren, Thomas John Cummings and Andrew James Cummings.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville Wayne Yockey on Dec. 12, 1971; sisters, Peggy Yoquelet, Nellie Vogel and Maxine Ward; two brothers, Hunt Hastings Leslie and John Allen Leslie.

There will be no services at this time.

Burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.
