Dr. Keith O. Dunlap, O.D.

Dr. Keith O. Dunlap, O.D., 84, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 18, 2023, at his home on Lake James, Angola, Indiana.

Born on May 9, 1939, he was the son of the late, William and Lois (Pless) Dunlap.  Keith graduated from Mitchell High School in Mitchell, Indiana in 1957 and received his Degree in Optometry from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1963.

On July 18, 1963, Keith married the love of his life, Eloise F. Wallace.

Keith was proud to serve his country as an officer in the United State Air Force.

When Keith’s duty with the Air Force was over, he and his family moved to Angola and started his business, Dunlap Eye Clinic.  He eventually was joined by his sons in the business and opened another office in LaGrange, Indiana.

After retiring Keith and Eloise enjoyed spending their time between their Lake James home and Florida.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

Keith was a former member of the Angola Lions Club.

Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years, Eloise F. Dunlap of Angola, Indiana and his daughter, Angela (Michael) Hiott of Fishers, Indiana.  Also surviving are his 5 beloved grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Kenneth James Dunlap and Craig William Dunlap.

Following Keith’s wishes, there will be no services.
