Emma Lothamer Obituary

ANGOLA - Emma Sue Morris Lothamer, 47, was called home Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at her home in Jimmerson Lake, Angola. She was born March 4, 1964, to Harold Ray and Laureen (Tibbs) Morris in Hindman, Ky. Sue attended Ivy Tech College. She was a member of the Ontario Congregational Church in Ontario, Ind. She also enjoyed wiener dog racing with her little dog Pixie. Fishing, boating and gardening were her other hobbies. She touched many through her listening ear, kind words and gentle spirit. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Sue is survived by her husband, Maurice James Lothamer of Angola; sister, Pat (Jose) Gonzalas of Angola; four sisters-in-law, Michelle Morris of Fort Wayne, Rhonda Coburn of St. Joe, Teresa Royer of Fort Wayne and Nancy Smith of Fort Wayne; two brothers-in-law, Patrick Lothamer of Fort Wayne and Ben Lothamer of Waco, Texas; and her father-in-law, James Lothamer of Fort Wayne. A service of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Weicht Funeral Home in Angola with Pastor Dale Hicks officiating. Burial will be in West Jamestown Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m. rosary service, Monday at the funeral home. Memorials are to the Steuben County Humane Society or the Ontario Congregational Church. Condolences may be left at www.weichtfh.com.
