Febie Booher Obituary

Febie Marcia Rose Booher, age 17, of Orland Indiana, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Febie was born on November 8, 2008. She was marked with beauty from the moment she entered the world. Her blonde curly hair and bright blue eyes were the first glimpse of the beautiful soul within her. The way Febie lit up every room she walked into was a direct reflection of her character which was kindhearted, loyal, fun, and charismatic.

Febie was on fire for God, and it was obvious. Her steadfast faith made her a rock of encouragement to many. She was able to serve God in true Febie fashion, by serving in the kid’s ministry at Pleasant View Church of Christ. You could often find her praising God through worship music, going to Bible studies, and in her own personal time with the Lord. Febie made it a point to love and serve others, just like Jesus.

Born with maternal instincts, Febie truly adored all children. Febie was an aspiring teacher and loved her time with her kids at Prairie Heights Elementary School through the student teaching program. She was also a devoted babysitter for several families where she was able to pour into so many little kids. Febie was absolutely going to find a baby to hold wherever she went. Some of the happiest moments in Febie’s life were those with a baby in her arms.

Febie was a trailblazer on the softball field as she was a leader who innovated and set the curve. If you were lucky enough to play with her or watch her play you know this to be true. She set a precedent with a cool demeanor on the mound like no other that her team naturally followed. She had a confident bat that was the direct result of hard work and determination. She had so much fun playing softball, doing double celebrations, creating lifelong friends, cheering in the dugout, and of course hitting dingers.

Survivors include her parents, Martin and Tiffany Booher; her siblings Lillie (Allan) Steele, Chance Booher, and Daysie Booher; her grandparents Nathan and Tonge Kimpel, Mike and Cindy Booher, Nick and Dolly Shisler; her aunts and uncles Len and Michelle Walter, Sean and Brigette Turay, Tyler and Amber Kimpel, J.J and Tasha Vance; along with several cousins.

Febie is preceded in death by her grandmother Marcia Booher and several great grandparents.

Visitation services will be held at Prairie Heights High School from 1pm until 4pm on Wednesday June 24, 2026, with a service immediately after at 4pm.  Live link:  https://evt.live/febie-booher-s-funeral-service
