Glen Moore

Glen Moore, 80, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his home.

Glen was born on March 19, 1944, in Catlettsburg, Kentucky to DeWard and Donna (Jackson) Moore.  He graduated from Seaman High School, Seaman, Ohio in 1962.

Glen married the love of his life, Susan L. Swager, on May 22, 1965.

He was proud to serve his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Angola American Legion Post 31.

Glen enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the cabin in the woods.

Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Susan L. Moore of Pleasant Lake, Indiana; daughter, Stacey (Joe) Harris of Angola, Indiana; four beloved grandchildren, Katie Knauer of Hudson, Indiana, Natalie (Lake) Evans of Ashley, Indiana, Nathan Harris of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Mathew Harris of Angola, Indiana and two adored great-grandchildren, Brynley and Kynslee.  Also surviving are his two brothers, James (Diana) Moore of Seaman, Ohio and Robert (Valda) Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry Moore.

Visitation will be 1-3 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.

Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date.

Final resting place will be in Pleasant Lake Cemetery, Pleasant Lake, Indiana.

Memorial donations may be made to the Steuben Twp. Fire Department, Pleasant Lake, Indiana.
