Hallie "Charlene" (Boudreaux) Trick

Hallie “Charlene” Trick, 79, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at her son’s home in Fremont, Indiana.

Charlene was born on December 28, 1944, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Robert and Gladys Irene (Pippen) Boudreaux.  She graduated from Lagrange High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Charlene married the love of her life, Stephen D. Trick, on October 26, 1966.

She was a homemaker and also worked at K-Mart in Angola, Indiana.

Charlene was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola, Indiana and St. Paul Catholic Chapel, Fremont, Indiana.  She also had been a member of the Merry Mixer’s Home Ec. Club.

Charlene enjoyed working in her garden and with her flowers.  She also enjoyed canning and baking.  Mostly she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Michael (Billie) Trick of Fremont, Indiana and Melissa A. (Rod) Huff of Limestone, Tennessee; her six beloved grandchildren, Cole (Haven) Trick, Kyle (Lauren) Trick, Kylie Trick, Coby Trick, Madeleine Huff and Tyler Huff; and two beloved great-grandsons, Owen and Noah.  Also surviving is her sister, Marilynn Jane Leger of Egan, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stephen D. Trick on June 25, 2019, and brother, Robert E. Boudreaux.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at St. Paul Catholic Chapel in Fremont, Indiana with Father Osman Ramos officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2024, prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in Teeters Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church or to St. Paul Catholic Chapel, Fremont, Indiana.
