Jack Allen Lancaster

Jack Allen Lancaster, 82, of Angola, Indiana passed away July 1, 2011 in the Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater, Michigan. Jack was born June 4, 1929 in North Liberty, Indiana to Allen Ellsworth and Clarice Kaufman Lancaster. Jack married Shirley Butler on December 10, 1960. He was in the US Navy. He worked for 381/2 years at Dana-Weatherhead in Angola Retiring in 1989. Jack was also a Life member of the VFW-George Anspaugh Post, Orland American Legion and he was a 32nd Degree Mason, Ashley Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite, Valley of Fort Wayne. Jack is survived by his two sons Jack Allen Lancaster Jr and his wife Sandy of Pleasant Lake, Indiana; Joseph A. Lancaster and wife Jenny of Sturgis, Michigan; 2 daughters Connie Jean Rutter of California; Melodie Kim Cole and Husband Mikeal Cole Sr. of Coldwater Michigan; 1 Brother William Lancaster of Angola, Indiana 11 Grandchildren and several Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by is parents; Wife Shirley Butler Lancaster who passed away on July 27, 2009 and a son Virgil "Tom" Lancaster. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 PM at South Scott Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Burial will be in South Scott Cemetery. Services will be officiated by his daughter Rev. Melodie Kim Cole.
