Jack Edward Mitchell Sr., 70 of Angola, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 after a long illness in Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola. He retired from Bohn Aluminum in Butler. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the Angola American Legion Post 31. He attended the Assembly of God Church of Angola. Jack was born on August 13, 1941 to Gordon and Laura (Ferguson) Mitchell in Garden City, MI. He married Ruth I. Bryan on Dec. 8, 1967. He is survived by his wife Ruth I. Mitchell of Angola, 2 sons, Bryan Patrick Mitchell of Phoenix, Az and Gregory Allen Mitchell of Angola; 2 daughters Rebecca Ann Davidson of Tuscan, AZ and Loralie Duncan of Huachuca City, AZ; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Jack Mitchell Jr. There will be no services at this time. Burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola. Memorials may be made to Donor's Choice.
