James “Jim” Duane Carnahan, 75, of Angola, Indiana, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 2, 2023, at his home.
He was born on December 4, 1947, in Bluffton, Indiana, to Harold and Mildred (Closson) Carnahan.
He married the love of his life, Vicki Smith, on January 25, 1967.
Jim had worked at JAT in Fort Wayne, Indiana before retiring.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Pleasant Lake, Indiana.
Jim enjoyed going to garage sales, working in his yard and gardening.
Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Vicki Carnahan of Angola, Indiana; his daughter, Jamie (Tony) Foster of Fremont, Indiana; his 3 beloved grandchildren, Chris Hantz, Cody Hantz and Tory Foster and 3 beloved great-grandchildren, Brody Hantz, Kenady Hantz and Cobian Hantz. Also surviving is his brother, Jerry (Shirley) Carnahan of Hudson, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Joseph Carnahan and Richard Carnahan.
Services will be held at a later date.
