Janet Maxine Morse, 96, of Angola, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Angola, Indiana.
She was born January 28, 1920 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Carl and Carolyn (Knight) Pressly. She married Donald F. Morse on December 12, 1948 in Colorado. He passed away in 2002.
Maxine was a legal secretary for over 40 years. She worked for several attorneys in the area. She was a member of the RSVP and had been a member of the Angola Business and Professional Women’s Club.
Surviving are her sons, Thomas W. Morse of Seattle, Washington and Charles E. Morse of Angola, Indiana; two grandchildren, Charles Cameron Morse and Tiffany Lauren Pease and one great-granchild, Morgan Pease.
Burial was in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.
There will be no services at this time.
Memorials may be made in Maxine’s memory to the Steuben County Council on Aging.
