Jennifer Joan (Ryan) Romine

Jennifer Joan Romine, 78, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at The Pines of DeKalb in Butler, Indiana.

Born November 27, 1947, in Caerphilly, Wales, she was the daughter of the late Charles “Art” Arthur and Joan (Roberts) Ryan.  Jennifer graduated from Angola High School in 1966.

She married her high school sweetheart, Richard “Rick” Louis Romine Jr. on July 9, 1967.  Together they raised their family with love, laughter, music and faith.

Jennifer retired from Moore Business Forms in Angola, Indiana.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved spending time with her family, especially when she was able to babysit her grandchildren and then later in life her great-grandchildren.

Jennifer enjoyed knitting, reading, playing Yahtzee (especially when she would beat her sister), and dancing.  She was always up for going out for dinner.

Jennifer was a member of Angola Christian Church in Angola, Indiana.

Surviving are her sons, Matthew Romine of Angola, Indiana and Timothy Romine of Angola, Indiana; three beloved grandchildren, Tyler (Kandace) Romine of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kourtney (Chris) Shough of Angola, Indiana and Tanner (Emma) Romine of Angola, Indiana; her 8 precious grandchildren, Noah Romine, Emersyn Romine, Addison Shough, Easton Shough, Finnlee Shough, Maverick Shough, Kaycee Shough and Ava Romine; and her siblings, Ann Schueler of Fremont, Indiana, Katie (Bob) Thomas of Georgia, David (Stephanie) Ryan of Angola, Indiana and Martin (Kim) Ryan of Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Also surviving is her best friend Marsha McClish of Angola, Indiana and her special friend, Phil Meyers of Angola, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 54 years, Richard “Rick” Louis Romine Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Angola Christian Church, 1297 N. 200 W., Angola, IN 46703 with Pastor Chano Officiating.

Visitation will be from 11-1 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, prior to the service at the church.

Memorial donations in Jennifer’s Memory may be made to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County, 780 Shelter LN, Angola, IN 46703.
