Joel D. Cram, 76, of Angola, Indiana, formerly of Coldwater, Michigan, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Angola, Indiana.
Joel was born on June 7, 1948, in Allegan, Michigan, to Harrison Jay and Martha (Blackmer) Cram.
He married Ethel Louise Firestone on December 6, 1973.
Joel worked for 22 years at Dana-Weatherhead in Angola, Indiana and 9 years as an Engineer for ASAMA in Coldwater, Michigan. In his younger years he was a Barber in Auburn, Indiana.
Joel was a member of the First Church of Christ in Coldwater, Michigan and later a member of the Columbia Church of Christ in Columbia, Ohio.
Surviving is his significant other, Janice Cram of Angola, Indiana and his children, Ric Onofrietti of Coldwater, Michigan, Ken (Johanne) Onofrietti of Angola, Indiana, Jon (Tammy) Onofrietti of Angola, Indiana and Dave (Dawn) Miller of Rome City, Indiana. Also surviving are his 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ethel L. Cram on December 19, 2019, one granddaughter, Kyra McVicker, his brother, Lyle Cram; his sister, Corrinne Wemus and his half-brothers, Clifton Cram and Wendel Cram.
A memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Columbia Church of Christ, Columbia, Ohio.
Final resting place will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
