John P. Ingledue

PLEASANT LAKE

John P. Ingledue, 63, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

John was born August 7, 1950 to Willis and Louiseen (Hutchins) Ingledue in Steuben County, Indiana.  He married Sheila K. Dohner on August 23, 1968.

He owned and operated his own farm.  He was a Steuben County Councilman.

John was a board member of the Steuben County Council on Aging.  He had formerly been on the Hamilton Community Schools School Board; IOOF, Steuben County 4-H Fair Board along with other numerous organizations.

John is survived by his wife Sheila K. Ingledue of Pleasant Lake, Indiana; his son Lonnie Ingledue of Angola, Indiana; his daughters Mindy and Daryl McConnell of Auburn, Indiana and Stacy Oberlin of Hamilton, Indiana; his brother Jim and Pat Ingledue of Hamilton, Indiana; his father Willis Ingledue of Pleasant Lake, Indiana and five grandchildren Justin McConnell, Gracelyn McConnell, Sarah Ingledue, Maggie Ingledue and Brevin Bennett.

Services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Hamilton Church of Christ, Hamilton, Indiana with visitation from 10-11 AM prior to the service.  Pastor Jeff Alexander will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Hamilton Church of Christ, Hamilton, Indiana.

Burial will be in South Scott Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
