John Lambert Obituary

John R. Lambert, 46, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Wed., October 2, 2013 in his home in Hudson, Indiana. He was born November 11, 1966 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert and Beverly (Bishop) Lambert. He graduated from Angola High School in 1985 and from Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne, IN. John married his high school sweetheart, Kelli Lepley on May 10, 1986. He worked at New Millennium Building Systems in Butler, Indiana. He was a member of the Sonlight Community Church, Angola, Indiana. Where he enjoyed being a greeter on Sunday's as well as working in the Kids Zone. He was a member of IHSAA, working as a football and basketball official. He enjoyed spending time with his family, horseback riding, hunting, golfing and dancing with his wife. He is survived by his loving wife Kelli Lambert of Hudson, Indiana; two sons Dustin (Mattie Taylor) Lambert; Dakota Lambert; his daughter and son-in-law Ashton and Ryan Holiday; three sisters Lisa and Mike Hagar; Terri and Randy Wienandt; Lori and Jason Novak; three step-sisters Mendy and Ron Penick; Julie and Jamie Thompson and Stacy and Nick Patrick. In-laws Jerry and Sharon Keyser; Chad and Jenni Lepley; and Scott and Grace Lepley. Along with multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly Lambert; his step-mother Kathy Lambert and father in-law Jack Lepley. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 7, 2013 at the Sonlight Community Church with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Roger Andrews will be officiating. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Sonlight Community Church, Angola, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Sonlight Community Church, Angola, Indiana.
