John Charles Schlup

John Charles Schlup, 62, of Angola, Indiana, passed away after a long illness, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Indiana.

John was born on April 4, 1962, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to James W. Sr. and Beverly J. (Freiburger) Schlup.  He graduated from Angola High School in 1979.

John was a produce salesman, and worked at the North 40 Market, Lake James, Indiana. He enjoyed motocross, being with friends and family, cooking on the grill, and crossword puzzles.

Surviving are his siblings, Lynn A. Schlup of Oconee, Georgia,  James Jr. (Patricia) Schlup of Angola, Indiana,  his nephew, James Schlup III of Boston, Massachusetts, special friend Toni Bennett of Angola, Indiana, and Patches kitty.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
