John Joseph Taylor, 72, died Monday, January 8, 2018 at his home in Angola, Indiana.
He retired from the Indiana Air National Guard, US Air Force where he was a Crew Chief and Jet Mechanic.
John was born on March 23, 1945 in Lima, Ohio to Gerald and Valeria (Clauss) Taylor. He married Jo Ann Duguid on March 14, 1965.
He was a member of the Fremont American Legion Post 257, Fremont American Legion Riders and the Goldwing Road Riders.
Surviving is his wife Jo Ann Taylor of Angola; son John Jason “Jake” (Laura) Taylor of Angola; daughter Jeri Jo (Jody) Fifer of Pleasant Lake, Indiana and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made for homeless veterans to any Steuben County American Legion or to the Donor’s Choice.
