Judith “Judy” Ann Ruselink, 81, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at her home.
Judy was born on December 4, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio to William and Winifred (Drescoe) Cameron. She graduated from John Marshall High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
Judy married the love of her life, Richard A. Ruselink on August 21, 1964, and celebrated 60 years of marriage this year. Judy and Richard raised 3 boys while living in Ashley, Indiana, West Lafayette, Indiana, Elmira, New York, and finally settling in Angola.
Judy was a lifelong educator and spent her career investing in the youth of northeast Indiana starting as a teacher at Carlin Park Elementary and retiring as a Media Specialist in 2004 from Prairie Heights School District. Following her retirement, Judy continued to follow her passion for helping youth by volunteering with CASA in northeast Indiana. She enjoyed spending time traveling both internationally and across North America with her husband, friends, and family.
She was a long-time member of Angola United Methodist Church and more recently a member of the Presbyterian Chapel of the Lakes in Angola, Indiana.
Surviving are her loving husband, Richard A. Ruselink of Angola, Indiana; her sons, Eric G. (Cheryl) Ruselink of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Joel A. (Rebecca) Ruselink of Fishers, Indiana; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer (David) Ruselink of Dearborn, Michigan; her beloved grandchildren, Brady (Cassandra), Kaitlyn, Jacob, Graham, Cameron, Gilbert, Trent, and Deacon, and her precious great-granddaughter, Wrenley Ruselink.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, William Cameron Jr., Winifred Cameron, Ellen Cameron, and son, David R. Ruselink.
Memorial Services will be at 12:30 PM, Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Chapel of the Lakes, 2955 W. Orland Road, Angola, IN 46703 with Pastor Chris Schaefer officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Saturday April 26, 2025, prior to the service at the church.
