Kathy Sue (Nelson) Foster

Kathy Sue Foster, 62, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Cameren Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Indiana.

Kathy was born on January 3, 1962, in Angola, Indiana to Willis H. and Virginia M. (Binkley) Nelson.  She graduated from Angola High School in 1980.

Kathy married the love of her life, Mark Dennis Foster, on June 21, 1987.

She had been the Director of Customer Service at One Stop Auto in Angola, Indiana.

Kathy was a member of the Hamilton Church of Christ in Hamilton, Indiana.

She enjoyed watching and going to car races.  Her favorite was dirt track racing, especially when her son was racing.  She also loved animals and was the Administrator for the IN Lost & Found pet page on social media.  Most of all Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her son, Ethan (Stephanie) Foster of Angola, Indiana; her beloved grandchildren, Trevor and Mazilynn; brother, Gordon Nelson of Fort Wayne, Indiana and nephews, Brandon (Melissa) Nelson and Dustin Onstott.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband 25 years, Mark Dennis Foster on December 10, 2012.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.  Pastor Jeff Alexander will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM on Saturday, January 4, 2025, prior to the service at the funeral home.
