Kristy Lynn (Henderson) Nickols

Kristy Lynn Nickols, 50, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at her home.

Kristy was born on October 6, 1974, to Kenny R. Henderson and Gayla M. (Short) Henderson.  She graduated from Angola High School in 1994 and then received her Dietician Certificate.

Kristy was the Dietary Supervisor at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Indiana.

She enjoyed going to stock car races and cheering on her father and brother.  Kristy was often seen in the bleachers at many sporting events and supporting her children in whatever activities they were participating in, such as being a Cub Scout Leader and helping out at the 4-H Park.  She loved spending time with her family.

Kristy is survived by her husband, Shannon D. Nickols of Angola, Indiana; her beloved children, Cody (Haley) Nickols of Whitestown, Indiana and Kylee (Alex Wright) Nickols of Angola, Indiana; her three precious grandchildren, Wyatt Wright, Weston Wright and baby Nickols on the way.  Also surviving are her parents, Kenny R. Henderson of Angola, Indiana and Gayla M. Henderson of Angola, Indiana and her brother, Robby (Fronie) Henderson of Angola, Indiana.

A Memorial Visitation will be from 4-6 PM, Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.

Memorial donations may be made to Henderson Motor Sports or to the American Lung Association.
