Larry Edward Paul Eckert, 66, of Kendallville, formerly of Angola, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his home.
Larry had worked in maintenance for several apartment complexes in the area.
He served his country in the United States Army.
Larry was born October 2, 1949 in Alliance, Ohio to Cyril and Charlene (Potter) Eckert. He married Eunice Jones on May 22, 1988.
Surviving is his wife Eunice Eckert of Kendallville; Daughter, Carrie Eckert of Youngstown, Ohio; son, Chad Badley of Westerville, Ohio; two step-daughters, Tammra Goodwin of Angola and Rhonda Fife of Wolcottville; one step-son, Rex Offenbecher of Libby, Montana; two brothers Garry Eckert and Earl Eckert both of Ohio and two sisters, Mary McCarthy and Barbara Lacivitas both of Ohio; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry Eckert and Mark Eckert.
Graveside Services and Burial will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Powers Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
