Larry L. German

Larry L. German, 76, of Orland, Indiana, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

He was born on January 28, 1947, in Angola, Indiana to the late Lee Roy and Clara Geneva (Craun) German.  Larry graduated from Prairie Heights High School.

He was proud to serve his country in the United States Army.

Larry had worked at Penix Construction in Orland, Indiana before retiring.

He was a member of the Hudson United Brethren Church, Hudson, Indiana.

Larry enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and tinkering around the house.  He liked going to the farmers market where he had a booth.  He loved spending time with his family, especially going to all his grandchildren’s activities.

Surviving are his children, Chad (Cherish) German of Angola, Indiana and Bethany (Jeff) Ziviski of Toledo, Ohio, his companion, Elaine Williams of Orland, Indiana and his sister, Linda Kolar of Oregon.  Also surviving are his 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services with Miliary Honors will be 11:00 AM, Friday, October 13, 2023, at Flint Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana with Rev. Craig Burkholder officiating.

Military Honors by the Orland American Legion Post 423 and the US Army Honor Guard.
