Larry May Obituary
Larry Hal May, 69, of Angola, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Indiana.
He was born on September 19, 1948 in Angola to Hal E. and Gladys (Grandstaff) May.
Larry graduated from Angola High School Class of 1966 and received his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan.
He enjoyed watching IU Basketball and the Chicago Cubs. He also enjoyed fishing and camping at the lake. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Larry was the Steuben County Assessor for 32 years, retiring in November of 2010.
Surviving is his brother, Garry (Dorothy) May of Angola; niece, Angie (Jon) Bontrager of Goshen and nephew, Garry Hal (Vicki) May of Baltimore, Maryland. He is also survived by his two great-nieces, Felicity and Faith Bontrager.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.
Private burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Larry’s memory to the Steuben County Cancer Association.
