Magdalena "Maggie" Colon, 86, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on May 17, 2026.
Born on January 25, 1940, in Puerto Rico, Maggie lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and love that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
If you ever spent time in Maggie's home, you knew one thing for certain: you were never leaving with an empty stomach, always filled with a fresh plate of rice and beans. Not only did she have a passion for cooking, she also enjoyed crocheting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids who she adored more than anything.
Maggie is survived by her two sons, Uriel Sicard and Angelo Sicard(Jammie Sicard); her grandchildren, Makala, Marion, Brooklyn, Angelo, Malayna, and Uriel Sicard; and her great grandchildren, Zenikai and Nielli Newton.
She was proceeded in death by her mother Hillary, her Father Rosendo, her brothers Charlie, Angelo, Uriel Colon.
Visitation will be from 4-6 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana with Rev. Vincent Torres officiating.
Burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.
