Mark Alfred Petersen

Mark Alfred Petersen, 61, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2024, at his home.

Mark was born on August 23, 1962, in Baltimore, Maryland to Theodore A. and Marie Therese “Murielle” (Pelletier) Petersen.  He graduated from Angola High School in 1980.

Mark married the love of his life, Vicki Holiday, on March 7, 2018.

He had worked at Artistic Carton in Auburn, Indiana for many years.  Mark designed and built a Komori Printing Press, one of the largest and most advanced printing presses in the world.

Mark enjoyed anything that had to do with the water.  He liked spending time at the lakes in his hometown, the ocean and especially the Gulf of Mexico while vacationing in Florida.  Mark also enjoyed golfing.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving is his loving wife of 6 years, Vicki Petersen of Angola, Indiana; mother, Marie Therese “Murielle” Petersen of Angola, Indiana; children, Nathaniel Mark (Kaela) Petersen of Coldwater, Michigan and Anna Murielle Petersen of Auburn, Indiana and siblings, Michelle (Arthur Jr.) Sundry of Riverside, Illinois, Ted Petersen of Carmel, Indiana and John (Dania) Petersen of Kennesaw, Georgia.  Also surviving is his fur baby, Fay.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore A. Petersen.

Memorial Mass will be 12 Noon, Thursday, June 6, 2024, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola, Indiana with Father Raul Marroquin officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 AM-12 Noon on Thursday, June 6, 2024, prior to the service at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County.
