Mary Ellen Pierson, 91, of Angola, Indiana passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Northern Lakes Nursing Home, Angola, Indiana.
She was born on October 4, 1929, in Bronson, Michigan to Wilbur and Marguerite (Helmer) Cole. She graduated from Coldwater High School in Coldwater, Michigan. Mary married Billie Edward Pierson on December 31, 1966.
She was a member of the Inverness Baptist Church in Inverness, Florida where she was also the head of their daycare program.
Surviving are her sons, Randy (Wendy) Wilber of Floral City, Florida and Billie Dowell of Litchfield, Michigan; daughters, Karma Lou Dolson of Coldwater, Michigan, Pam (Rich) Leto of Waterloo, Indiana and Dawn (Jerry) Perkins of Angola, Indiana; along with 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents; husband, Billie Edward Pierson on January 12, 1991; an infant son, Laverne Clinton Wilber; sister, Joyce May Cole and two grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Lockwood Cemetery in Branch County, Michigan.
Memorial donations may be made to the family for final expenses in care of Pam Leto.
