Mary Ellen (Flannelly) Henderson

Mary Ellen Henderson, 78, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler, Indiana.

She was born on June 6, 1944, in Jersey City, New Jersey to Edward F. and Eleanor C. (Laessig) Flannelly. 

Mary Ellen married the love of her life, James William Henderson on November 25, 1967.

She had been a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She had also been a medical assistant for private physicians before retiring.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Peter J. and Jacqueline Henderson of Angola, Indiana; grandchildren, Lauren Henderson and Landon Henderson both of Angola, Indiana and sister, Sharon Anderson of Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, James William “Bill” Henderson and her sister, Maureen Benard.

There will be no services held.
