Michael K. German, 62, of Montpelier, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at his home.
Michael was born on January 15, 1963, in Angola, Indiana and was the son of the late Milo Kent and Carolyn Ann (Lusk) German. He graduated from Prairie Heights School in 1981.
He married Christina A. Gearhart on April 18, 2015, but have been together for 24 years.
Michael and his wife transported RVs for Indiana Transport. In his earlier years Michael had worked as a welder for Syndicate Systems, worked at Fremont Wire and was a self-employed milk hauler.
He enjoyed many types of racing and was often seen at the Angola Motor Speedway. He enjoyed camping with friends and family. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his loving wife and best friend of 24 years, Christina A. German of Montpelier, Ohio; his sons, Matthew (Amanda) German of Angola, Indiana, Zachary (Morina) German of Wolcottville, Indiana and Barrett (Kara) German of Angola, Indiana; and his 6 beloved grandchildren, Jayme Lou, Braxton, Lukas, Allen, James and Maddox. Also surviving are his two sisters, Shari (Cheyenne) Harrington of Hamilton, Indiana and Beverly (Doug) Coolman of Angola, Indiana and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3-6 PM, Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Final resting place will be in the Flint Cemetery and the Edon Cemetery.
